Proofreading is a review and language edit of a text. Afterwards the text is correct in grammar, spelling and style.
What a proofreader does
A proofreader corrects the punctuation and adds what is missing, fixes capitalisation, removes grammatical errors and tidies the style, always with the content and the type of text in mind.
Who proofreads
Slovenian texts are proofread by graduates in Slovenian studies with years of experience. Texts in other languages are proofread by suitably qualified native speakers.
